Michael B. Barboun
Overview
Michael focuses primarily on patent prosecution in the electrical and mechanical technology spaces.
He assists clients with preparing patent applications, drafting office action responses, and conducting IP related due diligence.
Michael served as a law clerk as well as patent agent at Volpe Koenig while pursuing his law degree. He is adept at a wide range of legal research including patent searching and IP litigation support.
Previous Work and Industry Experience
Michael served as a legal intern for The Hon. Thomas J. Rueter, U.S. District Court, Eastern Dist. Of Pennsylvania. Prior to law school he worked as a lab technician for a Delaware chemical company.
Life Beyond Law
Michael is a competitive swimmer who also enjoys scuba diving, chess, hiking and travelling. During basket ball season, Michael can be found very enthusiastically cheering on the Philadelphia 76ers.
