Volpe Koenig, Philadelphia’s largest intellectual property law firm, is now accepting applications for its 19th annual “IPromise” grant campaign. Renamed the IPromise Jeffrey M. Glabicki Memorial Giving Fund in 2024 to honor the legacy of longtime shareholder Jeffrey Glabicki, the campaign recognizes the community contributions of Philadelphia-area nonprofits with a $40,000 grant award.

Applications are open from June 18 to August 14. To qualify, interested nonprofits must meet the following criteria, among other requirements:

    • In operation for at least two years
    • Headquartered in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Burlington, Camden or Gloucester counties
    • Less than $10 million annual operating budget
    • Fall within one of the following categories
    • Arts, Culture and Humanities
    • Community Development
    • Education and Research
    • Environment and Animals
    • Health, Human Services & Youth Development
    • Veteran Services

Full criteria and the application can be found here. Eligible nonprofits are strongly encouraged to apply. Winners will be notified in November; funds will be disbursed in December.

The 2026 recipient will join former IPromise awardees like 2025 recipient Wayne Senior Center, which works to provide community, friendship and resources that enrich the lives of older adults. Additional past recipients include The Barn at Spring Brook Farm, Integrate For Good, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and Musicopia, among others.
