Volpe Koenig Announces Recipient of 2025 the Jeffrey M. Glabicki IPromise Charitable Giving Fund
Volpe Koenig is pleased to announce that Wayne Senior Center has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Jeffrey M. Glabicki IPromise Charitable Giving Fund’s annual $40,000 grant. The giving fund has awarded almost $700,000 to worthy organizations across the Philadelphia Metro area since its inception. Established in 2007, IPromise supports area nonprofit organizations by helping them continue their important missions.
This year’s winner, Wayne Senior Center, is a multiservice senior community center located in Delaware County, Pa., dedicated to fostering healthy aging, community connection, and lifelong engagement for adults 55 and older.
"Wayne Senior Center is so grateful to receive the 2025 Volpe Koenig IPromise Jeffrey M. Glabicki Memorial Giving Fund Award,” said Katie Mahon, the center’s Executive Director. “This generous support will help us expand digital equity programs that ensure older adults stay connected to their families, their communities, and the resources they need. Through this funding, we will strengthen our one-on-one tech support services, launch a member-driven podcast that shares stories of modern aging, and bring in guest instructors to meet the growing demand for digital confidence.”
The IPromise winners are selected by a rotating committee of firm employees. Dawn Kerner, the Volpe Koenig Shareholder Chairperson of the 2025 committee said, ““Chairing our employee committee was truly gratifying—seeing colleagues from across the firm unite around impact in our community. We’re proud to award this year’s grant to expand technology access for older adults.”
Next year’s IPromise application process is expected to open in June of 2026.
