Overview
Bob is an independent contractor with Volpe Koenig. He handles utility and design patent preparation and prosecution for local and multinational companies. He has gained valuable working knowledge in the field of turbines (gas, steam, wind, solar), power generation and distribution, having represented a multinational, industry leader over the past 15 years. He is an independent contractor with Volpe Koenig.
Bob has also developed proficiency in the consumer product sector, representing manufacturers of eyewear, jewelry and fashion designers.
Bob also represents an industry leader in the field of fluid handling devices (flow limiters, aerators, regulators). He has also developed an expertise in the bicycle arts having prosecuted applications for cranks, chains, brakes, shifters and electronic components.
Other clients operate in the field of medical devices, namely endoscopic devices, spinal implants, shunts, stents, etc. Bob also has close to 20 years of experience in action sports, specifically in the paintball field.
Bob has presented presentations dealing with PCT practice and updates in U.S. Patent Office updates.
Previous Work and Industry Experience
Bob was previously at a large international general practice firm where he handled U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. Prior to that, Bob was a translator for the patent department of a large multinational chemical company.

Bob enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exploring new cultures, learning foreign languages, photography, cooking, oenology, surfing and cycling.
